Add a note to one section

A note like "Acoustic only", "repeat twice" or "key change here" sits above the exact section it belongs to, and everyone on the team reads it there.

Steps​

  1. Open the song.
  2. On mobile, press and hold the section. On web, tap the menu icon at the top right of the section.
  3. Tap Edit Md Notes. A note box opens above every section.
  1. Type your note. You can fill in several sections in one go.
  2. Tap Save at the top right.

Good to know​

  • OnStage calls these Md Notes. They belong to the song, so the whole team sees them.
  • The menu is not there while Compact View is on.
  • A note for the whole song goes in the notes card at the top instead. Add notes to a song
  • Section notes can be included when you export the song as a PDF.
