Buttons disappear when you're offline

If your internet drops, OnStage hides the buttons that change things. This is expected, not a fault, and nothing is lost.

What's happening

Anything that saves a change needs a connection. Rather than let you tap a button and lose your work, OnStage hides it until you're back online. A banner appears at the top of the screen while you're disconnected.

Good to know

  • What disappears: inviting people, changing roles, editing an event or setlist, changing a song's key, drawing annotations, adding files, switching teams, and opening team details.
  • What still works: reading songs you've already opened, viewing your schedule, and looking at your upcoming events.
  • Reconnect, then pull down on the screen to refresh. The buttons come back.
  • If they don't come back after reconnecting, close and reopen OnStage.
