Why you can't change your own role
Change Role never appears on your own profile, whatever role you have.
What's happening
Your role is given to you by an Owner or an Admin, and only an Owner or an Admin can change it. Nobody can give themselves more access, and nobody can take away their own by accident.
Removing people works the same way: you can't remove yourself from the member list.
Good to know
- Need a different role? Ask an Owner or an Admin. Change someone's role
- If you're the Owner, you already have every permission, so there's nothing to change.
- Your role is per team. You can be an Admin in one team and a Member in another.
