Read in two columns on a large screen

On a tablet or in a browser there's room for two columns of sections side by side, which means far less scrolling mid-song.

Steps​

  1. Open a song on a tablet, or in a browser.
  2. Tap the gear icon at the top right. Preferences opens.
  3. Scroll to Display Options.
  4. Turn on 2-Column Layout.
  1. Close the modal. The song splits into two columns behind it.

Good to know​

  • The row only exists on a large screen. On a phone it isn't in the list at all.
  • Even switched on, the song splits only when the screen is wide enough, about 600 px. Turn a tablet sideways, or widen the browser window.
  • Below that width the song goes back to one column on its own, and returns to two when there's room again.
  • It's your own setting and applies to every song you open.
