Change a song's key for the whole team

The key sits at the top of the song. Change it and the song moves for everyone on the team.

Who can do this: Owner, Admin, Editor. What the roles mean Online only: You need internet for this. Why buttons disappear offline

Before you start​

  • Check with whoever is leading the service. This changes the key for every person on the team, not only for you.

Steps​

  1. Open the song.
  2. Tap the key at the top of the screen. Change Key opens.
  3. Tap the letter you want. The song's original key is shown above the row.
  4. For a sharp or a flat, tap ♯ or ♭.
  5. Tap Save.
  6. Tap Confirm on Confirm Key Change.

Good to know​

  • Everyone sees the new key straight away, and the chords move with it.
  • ♯ isn't offered for E or B, and ♭ isn't offered for F or C.
  • Your own Capo sits in the same sheet and only changes what you see.
  • Save stays greyed out until you change something.
