Manage artists

Every song carries an artist, and every artist comes from one list your team shares. Keeping that list clean keeps the library searchable.

Who can do this: Owner, Admin, Editor. What the roles mean Online only: You need internet for this. Why buttons disappear offline

Steps​

  1. Open the song, tap the gear icon, then Edit Song.
  2. On the Details tab, tap Artist.
  3. Tap an artist. The list closes and the name lands on the song.
  1. If the artist isn't listed, tap Add New Artist and type the name.
  2. Save the song.

Good to know​

  • A song will not save without an artist. Please select an artist means this field is still empty.
  • Tap Manage in the same list to rename an artist or delete one.
  • The list loads more names as you scroll, and the search box finds one fast.
  • Once an artist exists, anyone can filter the library by it.
