Set up your team and plan your first week
Three things get a new team from empty to running: build the structure, plan your first event, then bring your people in.
Steps
Set up your team structure
Build the structure before you bring people in. Then everyone you invite has a position waiting for them.

- Check the team name is the one your church uses. Rename your team
- Create your groups (Band, Vocals, Media, whatever you call them) and add a position to each. Create groups and positions
- Add the songs you play most, so there's something in the library on day one. Add a song
- Invite your people, and give each one a role as you go. Invite people with a link or team code
Plan your first event
An event holds the date, the running order and the people. Build it in this order and nothing gets missed.

- Create the event with its date and time. Create an event
- Add a rehearsal if you're holding one. Add a rehearsal
- Add your songs to the setlist. Add songs to an event
- Add a moment for anything that isn't a song: welcome, offering, message. Add a moment to the setlist
- Put the setlist in running order. Reorder the setlist
- Invite people to their positions. Invite someone to a position
- Publish it. Publish an event so your team can see it
Good to know
- Your plan sets how many people can be on the team. Understand your seats
- Your team doesn't see an event until you publish it, so there's no rush to get it right first time. Each event gets its own chat on the Chats tab. Once the shape works, save it as a template and start from that next week. Create an event from a template
- Ask people to allow push notifications. That's how they hear about an invitation. Turn notifications on or off
