Chat details: see who's in a chat, and its photos and files

Every chat has a details screen with three tabs: the people in it, the photos shared in it, and the files shared in it.

Where: iPhone, iPad and Android only. OnStage on phone, tablet and web

Steps

See who's in a chat

1. Open the Chats tab and tap a chat.
2. Tap the chat's name at the top of the conversation. The details screen opens on Members, with the number of people next to it.
3. In an event chat, tap See Event to open that event.

• In an event chat, each person shows the positions they serve in on that event.
• Tap a person to open their profile.
• Nobody is added or removed here. An event chat follows the people on the event.

Browse photos and files

1. On the details screen, tap Photos. Everything shared in the chat shows in a grid, newest first.
2. Tap a photo to open it full screen. Swipe to move between photos.
3. Tap ⋯ at the top right to Share it.
4. Tap Files to see documents and audio, each with its size, who sent it and when.
5. Tap a file to open it, or tap ⋯ next to it and tap Open.

Delete photos and files

Who can do this: Owner, Admin. What the roles mean Online only: You need internet for this. Why buttons disappear offline

1. On Photos or Files, tap Select at the top right, or long-press an item.
2. Tap each item you want to remove. Select All picks them all.
3. Tap Delete in the bar at the bottom.
4. Read the confirmation, then tap Delete.

• Deleted items are removed for everyone and can't be brought back. In the conversation, the message shows Photo removed or File removed instead.
• The confirmation says when someone else shared what you're deleting.
• To delete one item, use ⋯ on the open photo or next to the file.
