Send a file

Put a PDF, a chord sheet or any other document straight into the conversation.

Steps​

  1. Open a chat and tap + to the left of the message box.
  2. Tap Files.
  3. Choose one or more files from your device. They appear in the chat as they upload.
  1. To read a file someone sent, tap it in the chat. It opens in your device's usual app for that kind of file.

Good to know​

  • Files sent in a chat count towards your team's storage, under Chat files.
  • Files over 25 MB are skipped, and a note tells you which ones. The rest still send.
  • If an upload fails, tap the failed attachment in the message to send it again.
  • On web, files open in a new browser tab instead.
