Vote in a poll or change your vote

A poll sits in the conversation like any other message. Anyone in the chat can answer it.

Steps​

  1. Open the chat holding the poll.
  2. Tap the option you want. Your vote lands straight away.
  3. If the poll allows more than one answer, tap every option you want, then tap Vote.
  1. To change your mind, long-press the poll and tap Retract vote.
  2. Vote again.

Good to know​

  • Once you've voted, each option shows the share of the votes it holds.
  • On web, hover over the poll instead of long-pressing.
  • If the poll shows who voted, tap View Votes underneath it to see names.
