Reply from a notification without opening OnStage

Answer someone in a few seconds, from the notification itself.

Steps​

  1. When a chat notification arrives, open its actions.
  2. Tap Reply.
  3. Type your answer into Type a reply…
  4. Send it. The notification clears and your answer lands in that chat.

Good to know​

  • The reply goes to the chat the notification came from. OnStage stays closed.
  • If it can't be sent, a second notification titled Reply not sent arrives. Open OnStage and send the message again.
  • Tapping the notification itself opens OnStage instead of replying.
  • No notification means nothing to reply to: check that notifications are turned on.
