Blockout rules and limits
If a blockout won't save, one of these is usually why.
What's happening
- The day has passed. Tap a day that's already gone and there's no New Blockout card. You can only block out today or later.
- You're looking too far ahead. The date picker stops 365 days from today. To block out something further out, wait until it's inside the year.
- The end is before the start. You'll see End date must be after start date. Move Ends later.
- The times are the same. On a single day with All day off, the start and end times have to differ.
Good to know
- Add and Update stay greyed out until everything above is satisfied.

How long can the reason be?
Up to 150 characters, and it's required. Keep it to a few words: "on holiday", "work trip".
Do I need one blockout for every day I'm away?
No. One blockout can span several days, so a whole trip needs only one.
