Web App and mobile app: what's different
The Web App and the mobile app share one account and one set of data. A change made in either shows in the other, so plan on whichever screen suits the job.
What's happening
Almost everything works in both. These are the exceptions.
| Feature | Web App | Phone and tablet |
|---|---|---|
| Keyboard shortcuts | ✓ | |
| Drag files onto a song or a chat | ✓ | |
| Drag to reorder a setlist | ✓ | ✓ |
| Notifications | in the browser | push |
| Reply from a notification | ✓ | |
| Calendar sync | ✓ | |
| Home screen widget | ✓ | |
| Share into OnStage from another app | ✓ | |
| Refer a church, earn free months | ✓ |
Plans can be bought on the web. A plan can only be changed or cancelled where it was bought: a plan from the App Store or Google Play is managed there, a plan bought on the web is managed on the web.
Good to know
- Sign in with the same Google or Apple account on both, or you'll see a different, empty OnStage.
- Browser notifications are turned on per browser, from your profile. Dark mode, browser notifications and cookies
- A wide window shows more at once: the setlist beside an item's details, or the song editor beside its preview.
- Buttons don't disappear when your connection drops. A change made offline fails with a message, so reconnect and try again.
